Crocheted Baby Girl Sandals

I have wanted to make some kind of baby shoe for a while now, and I really mostly wanted to crochet them. I have been wondering and playing around with my yarn trying to get the shape of the sole of the foot in order to crochet some kind of footwear. Well, guess what? I figured it out all on my own by just playing around with the yarn. Here is a rough draft of a sweet baby sandal. How cute is this?! Now that I know how to do it, I will be making a better pair probably tomorrow, Will post pics of course! Enjoy!

I am thinking of making some baby booties. I want to use fabric and sew them instrwd of trying to figure out a crochet or knitting pattern. Im sure I could figure it out from a sewing pattern that I can print out. Now my cha.llenge is finding one for each boy and girl because I keep only finding ones for girlier looks.
