Crochet Leprechaun Hat

Timmy needed some kind of leprechaun apparel for this weeks upcoming Saint Patricks Day Parade so I crocheted him a hat! I haven't had the chance to try it on him because he isn't home tonight, but I'm sure it will be adorable!!!!

Summer Dress for Scarlett!

It is only March but I felt the need to speed up summer getting here by breaking out the sewing machine and making Scarlett a beautiful  new dress <3 She looks very precious in it! Simple Pattern I basically created and most likely going to whip up a bunch more in different colors! Perfect for a toddler on the go! Now she needs some cute shorts with the fabric remnants!

Craft Wars

I am not sure if I am just the last one to jump on the bandwagon, but today I have discovered the show Craft  Wars on TV hosted by Tori Spelling. I cannot believe I have never heard of it. It comes on Tuesday nights on TLC at 10pm I believe. http://tlc.howstuffworks.com/tv/craft-wars . If you go on the website, there are tons of links to certain crafts and ideas of all kinds. I am dying with excitement about this and cannot wait to find some time to sit and read it all. Actually, I am more excited to begin doing some crafts from the site!

Check out the rest of the stuff on there and watch the show, this is exciting!

Recycled Planters Project

Nicole and I got the kids together today and made small planters using recycled baby food jars I save each time Scarlett eats. Nicole supplied the flower seeds, which were a mixed bunch so what will grow will be a suprise! We had the boys, Rowan, Sammy, and Timmy fill up the jars with soil and add the seeds. They wanted to water their flowers so we gave them mini squirt guns (thanks Mom and Jerry for sending those!) and viola'! Super cute project and the boys had a lot of fun and so did we! Playing with dirt is always a good time, and not just for little boys !

Baby Food Jars Recycled

I love little glass jars, or any glass jar for that matter. Yesterday I caught a sale on baby food (in glass jars), on sale. I usually get the 2 pack of baby foods in plastic containers, but this time I was saving money and knew I could turn the jars into something...why not?! So here I am gathering some ideas from around the internet and I will pick one of course...as soon as Miss Scarlett eats up all her food!

This is too cute!crocheted around for a sweet candle lit glow! Consider it already done.

I am in love with this. I need one. When I own a house, I can see this being a project for above the kitchen or dining room table. borrowed from: http://www.naturalhomeandgarden.com/Homemade-Home-Decor/Baby-Food-Chandelier.aspx

Are you absolutely kidding me?? This is amazing! Just my style, Are those Hemp strings? If not, mine will be!
