Fabric strips

While playing around for an hour with some pink and blue fabric strips trying to come up with an awesome bracelet, I got nothing. Will not give up though because it is late and I am exhausted and I will hopefully wake up with some inspiration.. After a pot of coffee of course. So until then, goodnight!

If at first you don't succeed, KEEP CRAFTING!

Moms Great Idea!

Sew Exciting!

I have created my own pattern for wristlets/ phone cases. They will be big enough to fit Iphones, and other phones similar in size. They will be made of beautiful fabrics and will have straps for holding. Complete with quality Batik fabrics, and interfacing in between layers, and zippers for safe keeping, these will last and be your favorite new accessory!  I am very excited to start sewing these and even more excited to sell them to friends and family, hoping to make them a hit because they will be amazing! Checkback for updates within the week!

Earth Day: Recycled old crayons!

Gather all your old broken Crayons together and get ready to make them better!
Preheat the oven to 250'.
Peel away all the paper from the crayons.
Break crayons in small pieces if not broken already.
Use a muffin pan (we used mini muffin pan) and full cups with colors, different color schemes work well and create more fun as well.
Put in the oven for about 10 minutes or until melted.
Remove and let cool.
There you go! Awesome mixed crayons!

New Baby Shower Gift Page

I added a new page today for Homemade Baby Shower gift ideas. I also got to thinking how I would be more than happy to create things for anyone who has less time for creating gifts. Email me if you would like a homemade gift made for somebody special, it can be an idea we can come up with together, something from around the internet or even something I have posted, let me know. I do have a sewing machine as well and enjoy sewing. Let me know and we can also come up with a price together. Thanks!

Fairy Gardens

What is more adorable and enchanting then a little magical fairy garden? Nothing! I am in love with the idea and am very much considering one of my own for my balcony. Adding to it here and there to improve and customize this fairytale space will be taken to any level of creativity I can think of. Here are some pictures of fairy gardens I have found around the web:
