Brownies!

My family is big on snacking and I love to back the deserts. Tonight we decided we wanted brownies, and Betty Crocker and Dunkin Hines were not on call. So we looked up a simple brownie recipe using Hershey's Cocoa powder and there we go Simple and Easy!
Ingredients:
1 stick of melted butter
1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/4 tsp salt
(I have no idea what website I ended up finding that on so I can not site it, but I'm sure you can forgive me.)

We mixed the sugar and butter together. Then we added the eggs, and everything else gets mixed together in a separate bowl. Combine all together and pour in brownie pa. We baked for 25 minutes at 350! Enjoy!

Update: YUM!

Paracord Bracelets

I have been seeing these paracord bracelets all over the internet and think they are really cool. They are not just bracelets, but about 6 feet of paracord literally on your wrist at all times in case of an emergency where you need rope. Timothy loved them right away and so he bought me supplies to make some. We are sending them to my mother - in- laws place of work so that she can see if anyone is interested in purchasing these. I am sure they will go quick!

Timmy's New Favorite "Grilled Cheese"

I only have so many opttions when it comes to Timmy eating a meal. He is too picky (however he has come a long way), so grilled cheeese is a favorite and almost every day thing. I had tortillas in the refriegerator along with shredded cheese and we made cheese quesadillas instead! I was beyond shocked that he was even willing to eat it but its all gone now! He is awesome! New favorite lunch!

PLARN- Plastic Yarn!

I have figured out what to do with the collection of plastic grocery bags in the clost. I have an obnoxious amount of these bags form Daves Marketplace and want to turn them into something useful instead of them stockpiling as usual, or throwing them in the trash. I did some research and figured out that you can flatten them out nicelly and cut off the tops and bottoms (handles and closed end). That leaves you with the round body of the bag. You cut those into strips (which are loops , connected at each end still). Doing a simple slip knot, you can boyscout your way into a chain of these plastic loops and there you have it, a chain of plastic to roll up! Now what do you think I am going to do with all of these recycled/ repurposed bags? Crochet a new bag of course!
